STUDENT PRESENTATIONS

The culminating event for students involved in SWRP is the annual Student Watershed Summit. The Summit provides the opportunity for students to present their findings on data interpretation, ideas for watershed health improvements, and diagnosis of problems in the watershed in both posterboard and oral sessions. A panel of judges made up of agency and university scientists evaluate student presentations providing students the opportunity to interact with agency and university researchers, learning first hand the importance of the data they have collected.  The event also provides an opportunity for researchers and management decision makers to see and hear the ideas for management strategies produced by SWRP students.
